Epsilon Systems Solutions is seeking a full time Shipboard Electrician II in San Diego, CA.
Summary: This position will provide day-to-day work onboard CVNs, the CNAP Valve Barge or at NASNI.
Duties and Responsibilities:
(a) Conducting ship check(s) to verify Automated Work Request (AWR) requirements.
(b) Assessing and repairing shipboard auxiliary and / or galley and laundry equipment.
(c) * May work as a general mechanic at times as well.
(d) Training Ship's Force on how to accomplish AWR repairs.
(e) Researching US Navy and COTS Technical manuals and / or drawings to identify repair parts.
(f) Contacting vendors as required for parts support / technical information (as required).
(g) Looking for someone following minimal skillset:
Ability to diagnose equipment to repair, install and test electrical circuits, equipment and appliances.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical controls, industrial motor control centers, and programmable logic controllers
Familiarity with shipboard, food services and laundry equipment.
Familiarity in shipboard Work Authorization Forms (WAFs), Tag Outs and eSOMs.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics for wiring installation and work from standard and metric specifications.
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 12 years of experience with either shipboard marine electrical or skilled trades experience with related maintenance and repair experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams, or other mechanical technical data pertaining to the construction and operation of naval equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DBIDs credential and base access
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $32.30 to $36.00 Per Hour. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

• Required to walk, stand, climb stairs, have dexterity as well as visual skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work shipboard and go up and down ladders
