Job Description:

The Business Development Lead role is pivotal to the success of our growth ambitions. Reporting directly to the Growth Manager, the Business Development Lead is responsible for defining and executing the business development strategy for products related to Hydraulic, Simulation and Optimization. This role involves deep engagement with the product, user domain and market insights to shape a focused overall business development (BD) strategy. This role will also embrace and adopt the use of technology in shaping our business development and growth efforts.

The Business Development Lead will work closely with the Growth Manager to establish, execute, and deliver on the global sales targets and strategic growth initiatives across our various sales regions and localized to each key market. The role also includes providing pre-sales and demo support and collaborating with marketing communication teams to develop effective materials.

What is required



  • Experience in business development, preferably with a focus on Hydraulics, Simulation and Optimization

  • Experience in the water, oil and gas industry

  • Experience with, or using AI in business development activities

  • Experience with target setting and performance management from Business Development efforts

  • Ability to work closely with marketing teams to develop strong go-to-market strategies

  • Familiarity with pre-sales processes, including demo support

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Technical and industry regulatory knowledge

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
