Volt is immediately hiring Fabrication workers in Charlotte, NC.
As a Fabrication Worker, you will:
Fabricate crystal parts per technical drawing specification and production schedule
Clean substrates and inspect them for cosmetic defects, scratches, digs, stains, sleeks, etc.
Follow technical work instructions and understand engineering blueprints
Complete all associated process documentation
Maintain tooling and a clean, organized work environment; follow housekeeping schedule
Conduct preventative maintenance
Work closely with teammates with a positive approach
Participate in team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance quality, cost, and scheduling
This is a full-time, Temp to Hire opportunity. 10 % to 15% pay increase once you convert to Permanent Employee!
The ideal candidate will:
High School Diploma or GED required
Possess strong mechanical aptitude; ability to use specialized equipment, read detailed instructions/prints, and maintain written records
Maintain an organized work environment using 5S principals
Technical manufacturing experience is required
Must have excellent mathematical and measuring skills (experience with micrometers, calipers, and other calibrated measurement tools)
Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, in a technical environment
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn
Visual acuity and manual dexterity skills are required
Regular, consistent attendance is required
Pay Rate:$18 to $19 per hour
