Volt is immediately hiring for a Production Operator in Carpinteria CA.
In the Production Operator role, you will assist in various aspects of the manufacturing process. These processes include assembly, material handling, machine operation, mixing, kitting, inventory, and packaging.
Duties as a Production Operator include:
Based on the day's needs, assisting in various areas of the manufacturing/production department.
Material Handling - Pulling and kitting inventory, measuring and weighing materials or mixes, inventory counts, labeling of pre and post production inventory, packaging.
Machine operation - operating manual and automatic machinery such as mixers, labelers, fillers, and packaging.
Assembly - Assemble kits for pre-production, assemble parts during production, and assemble orders post production.
Work with various chemicals and mixtures, adhering to all safety standards.
Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
Able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Able to lift up to 50lbs as needed, frequent bending and reaching.
Able to work with and around various chemicals, ensuring all safety procedures are adhered to and followed.
Able to work in a cold storage environment as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pay Rate:$18.00 per hour, Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30 pm
