Job Description:

Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $19.52 an hour

Position Summary:

The Squeeze Relish Heavy Laborer tracks all materials used, moving and lifting large boxes, filling in for employees on break, and using computer software programs. This is a first shift opportunity. The hourly rate for the successful bidder is $19.52. You will report to Production Lead and Team Lead.

Essential Duties:

• Maneuver large boxes and use floor jacks to move product.




• Operate machinery and equipment and ensure that it is functioning.




• Perform required computer software tasks and report any issues with functionality.




• Minor routine maintenance including disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling machinery observing safety and sanitation standards.




• Complete job responsibilities observing standard work instructions.




• Follow organizational methods and processes where applicable.




• Ensure all documentation is completed and maintained, neatly, and legibly.




• Complete miscellaneous tasks associated with the position and demonstrate a willingness to take on additional job tasks.




• Remain productive to achieve position requirements.




• Train employees on job specific responsibilities following safe, quality work methods and standards.




• Support our quality and environmental goals.




• Recognize any foreign or defective materials or products and report findings to team members.




• Perform quality checks specific to the operation.




• Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.




• Inspect workstation(s) to ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.




• Follow safe work practices and GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained observing company policy.

Required Skills:

• Maintain an acceptable attendance record.




• Six months of prior manufacturing or assembly experience.




• Reference documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.




• Communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of employees.
