Job Summary
Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives and contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results. Typically manages a team of analysts who work to support reporting and analytic trends for Tech Ops & Engineering in the Central Division. Manage cross functional teams to collect new reporting requirements, retrieve, analyze and summarize data to optimize effectiveness, predict operational outcomes and recommend decisions to meet consumer expectations. Ensure internal control adherence, provides audit support and understands consumer data privacy laws.
Involved with numerous key business decisions by overseeing the analyses that inform our Tech Ops and Engineering operational strategy. This may include: supporting executive stakeholders and operational teams with easy-to-use visualization reports and dashboards, develop analytical models for predictive reporting capabilities, drive analyses to understand drivers of key operational trends, identify customer sentiment drivers through natural language processing (NLP) of verbatim responses to Net Promotor System (NPS) surveys and development of frameworks to drive insights to track and monitor performance metrics across cross-functional teams. Contributes to Tech & Engineering functional strategy development through informed data analytics and decision models.

Lead identification of key business drivers and insights by conducting exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.

Review and communicate findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decision makers.

Requirements
7-10 years of experience in managing teams of data/reporting resources.
Experience managing data and conducting quantitative analysis is desired.
In-depth knowledge of quantitative and statistical analysis techniques and tracking key performance indicators.
Knowledge of Excel, SQL and familiarity with reporting and business intelligence tools (Tableau, QuickBase, SAS ect).
Excellent communication skills and comfortable facilitating meetings with senior executive leaders.
Attention to detail and Problem-solving aptitude.
Preference: Background in Telecommunications Tech & Engineering Operations.
BSc/BA in Computer science, Statistics, Data Management or related field.
