RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Mesa, AZ that is seeking a Business Analyst.

Summary:
The Government Solutions business is hiring a Business Analyst to support back office software platforms. AXSIS and Alcyon are platforms on which all Government Solutions' roadside events are brought in house, processed, passed to enforcement agencies (EAs) for review, printed, mailed, paid, and adjudicated.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Play a leading role in Agile software development team


• Lead requirements gathering effort with stakeholders


• Participate in development design sessions


• Create documentation including flowcharts, mockups, diagrams, requirements documents, and end-user training when needed


• Participate in all scrum ceremonies


• Create user stories from defined features


• Groom the backlog to decompose and estimate stories


• Prep backlog for sprint planning efforts


• Answer questions from developers to clarify requirements


• Review and approve QA test cases/results


• Conduct user acceptance testing


• Demonstrate the latest iterations to end-users


• Assist program management in implementation and status reporting activities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in related field; Equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree


• 2+ years of experience with Agile methodology


• 2+ years of previous Business Analyst or Product Owner experience


• 2+ years of experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements


• 2+ years of experience creating wire frames, mockups and building functional designs


• 2+ years of experience with business cases


• 2+ years of experience with process flows and Visio


• 2+ years of experience leading JAD sessions, interviews, or equivalent methods


• 2+ years of experience in business process and requirements analysis including documenting as-is and designing to-be business processes.


• 2+ years of experience validating business requirements and acceptance criteria is covered by test cases


• Previous participation in large-scale strategic and multi-faceted projects with a proven ability to meet delivery deadlines


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms


• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms


• Ability to interface with all levels of an organization to communicate status, escalate problems, frame opportunities, and guide decision making


• Ability to work in teams and to work independently with minimum supervision.


• Strong analytical skills, data driven decision making, attention to detail, adaptability, and demonstrated initiative


• Desired experience with Azure DevOps and Jira


• Desired experience with Pega or similar CRM/BPM platform


• Desired experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
