RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst.

Summary:
Join our team as a Security Systems Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in safeguarding our organization's data and systems. This position involves identifying, investigating, and resolving security violations while researching information security standards and emerging technology trends. Your efforts will focus on conducting security and vulnerability analyses, risk assessments, and upgrading systems to close security gaps. The Senior IT Security Analyst will collaborate closely with the Security team to implement and maintain policies that ensure compliance with established standards and procedures. Your work will also contribute to preventing data loss and service interruptions by analyzing systems, identifying risks, and implementing effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures in collaboration with the Security team


• Protect organizational data by identifying, investigating, and resolving security violations


• Research emerging technologies and trends to enhance corporate network and application security


• Perform security and vulnerability analyses, risk assessments, and system upgrades


• Monitor IT security logs, reports, and data sources to ensure application functionality and system security


• Prepare security reports by collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and areas of improvement


• Collaborate with end users and project teams to understand departmental needs and implement policies that address compliance


• Maintain documentation, including risk registers, SOPs, program guides, and technical guides


• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED plus seven (7) years of experience in security systems technologies, along with ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), CEH, or a related security certification


• Associate's degree plus five (5) years of experience in security systems technologies, along with ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), CEH, or a related security certification


• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in security systems technologies


• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field plus one (1) year of experience and ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), CEH, or a related security certification


• Master's degree in Information Systems or a related field plus one (1) year of experience in security systems technologies or ISACA, SANS, ISC(2), CEH, or a related security certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• CRISC (Certified Risk in Information Systems Control) Certification


• Experience in third-party risk management, including questionnaires and risk analysis


• Expertise in conducting risk assessments for systems, data sets, and applications


• Experience with Microsoft Purview for DLP, sensitivity labeling, insider risk management, and data security posture management


• Proficiency in maintaining documentation such as risk registers, SOPs, and program guides

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
