The Product Manager is recognized as an expert for their assigned Product Family. The primary responsibility of the Product Manager will be to manage the evolution and performance of their product portfolio. This will include partnering with Marketing, IT, Operations, Sales, Finance, Credit, & Risk/Compliance in identifying opportunities to improve client utilization and penetration and financial results. Additionally, the Product Manager will provide support to internal business partners and clients in configuring solutions to meet the needs of Clients and in the solicitation of Market and client feedback. This role will also be responsible for managing key vendor relationships.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Contribute to creation and execution of Product Portfolio Roadmap and strategic plan
Responsible for understanding and gathering corporate and business line strategies and business objectives and translating into product delivery
Product performance and budget analysis and reporting
Implement process or process improvements to improve product delivery
Serve as point of contact for vendors and internal business partners
Lead business case development for new products or enhancements
Translates business requirements into system definitions and solutions
Supervises proper implementation of a new system
Responsible for upkeep of product inventory and lifecycles; introduction, maintenance, consolidation and retirement
Monitor industry and competitor trends
Assists with client experience documentation and planning
