We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Sr. Business Analytics Manager to build and optimize best-in-class business operations with a strong focus on OKR design, KPI reporting, and leadership-level analytics. In this role, you will drive strategic decision-making by developing robust dashboards, actionable insights, and data-driven frameworks that align with organizational goals.

This team is part of the CTO's organization and designing future-forward technologies and experiences to enable global commerce. Platform technologies built by this team will be instrumental in helping drive PayPal's global reach through best-in-class technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in sales, platform, and product analytics and a proven track record of working with product leaders on instrumentation and data visualization. You will collaborate across teams to build dashboards and analytics tools that provide real-time visibility into business performance, ensuring alignment with leadership objectives and operational excellence.



Your day-to-day:




Analytics strategy & reporting:

• Define and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy that supports OKR design, KPI tracking, and leadership-level insights to drive decision-making.


• Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards that integrate sales, platform, and product analytics, providing real-time visibility into performance metrics for leadership and cross-functional teams.


• Collaborate with product leaders to define instrumentation needs, ensuring accurate data capture and intuitive visualization for key metrics.


• Analyze trends, identify opportunities for optimization, and provide insights into key areas such as revenue growth, customer retention, and platform performance.

Leadership communications:

• Create and present analytics reports and dashboards to senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.


• Train and enable teams to use analytics tools effectively, fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.


• Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and updates to communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes of initiatives to senior leadership.

What you need to bring:

• 8+ years of experience in business analytics, operations, or a related role, with a strong focus on KPI reporting, dashboard development, and leadership reporting.


• Proficiency in analytics tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or equivalent. Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and data visualization best practices.


• Proven ability to design and implement OKR frameworks and KPI tracking systems to align with organizational objectives.


• Excellent ability to present complex data and insights to senior leaders, driving strategic discussions and decisions.


• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in analytics or business intelligence are a plus.


• Strong communication skills in English and ability to drive cross-functional leadership needed.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is
$82500 to $187990
