Primary Location:2200 W. University Drive, McKinney, Texas, 75071We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
Job Summary:Provide supervision for a team of 7-10 electricians and facilities maintenance technicians responsible for multiple campuses and locations. Direct maintenance, repair, and operation activities of electrical systems, lighting, painting, plumbing, hardware, elevators, building envelope, and various contracted services. Respond to equipment/system failures, issue and monitor work orders, and respond to customer requests. Ensure compliance with EPA, FLSA, NFPA and TDLR policies on a federal, state and local level. Serve as backup to the facilities zone manager in his/her absence.

Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, climbing and balancing, plus pushing, pulling and lifting. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting and intense noises.
Frequent exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards. Majority of work performed outside or with exposure to risk. Frequent physical effort required.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency diploma required. An associate degree from an accredited institution or a Master Electrician License preferred.
Five (5) years of related experience required.
One (1) year of supervisory experience required. (Internal candidates without supervisory experience may be considered, and may be required to complete supervisory training within one year of hire into the position.)
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Texas Driver's License required.*

A Motor Vehicle (MVR) Report will be run in conjunction with the background check during the contingent offer stage and annually/bi-annually for the duration of employment at Collin College.
