Summary

The Spec, Loan Reviewer L1 SS (Shared Services) reviews specific documents in the file to agency guidelines to obtain the FHA, VA, and USDA, Certificates.

Essential Job Functions may include:

  • Review documents per the Agency check list requirements – after closing.

  • Audit information to the EDMS verifying the information meets the specific loan type requirements.

  • Verify information is accurate in Lakewood and in the FHA, VA, and USDA websites.

  • Enter data in to Lakewood upon completion.

  • Enter data in to Agency websites.

  • Communicate to appropriate contact for deficiencies.

  • Contact FHA, VA, USDA, underwriters, and post closers to correct any inaccuracies.

  • Assemble loan packages to manually submit to Agencies within a designated deadline.

  • Identify and solve discrepancies including both missing data and bad data.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Processing experience a plus.

  • Client service delivery results.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.

  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.

  • Problem resolution.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graph.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Customer Service Relationships:

Anticipates customer needs and regularly motivates or influences others to deliver customer service excellence. May troubleshoot highly sensitive or confidential issues. Personally, ensures problem resolution. Identifies barriers to effective customer service and sets customer service standards. Establishes a customer feedback system and holds self-accountable for customer service excellence within the department.
