Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Technical Support Lead to join our team at the Norton Shores Michigan plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive desktop support and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related functions within the plant.
Responsibilities
Lead the IT support function onsite, providing guidance and leadership for all IT needs.
Install, configure, and maintain corporate computer equipment to ensure optimal functionality
In collaboration with the Director of IT technical support, design and implement IT support strategies to improve overall efficiency and user satisfaction.
Track and manage IT support incidents using a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and communication with end-users.
Assist plant employees with IT-related issues, including setting up new user accounts, training on software applications, and providing guidance on best practices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated IT support issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Mentor and train junior IT support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and plant management to align IT support practices with organizational goals.
Manage IT support documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Packaging Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, etc.)
5+ years of experience in packaging sustainability, circular economy, or a related field, ideally within the food and beverage industry or a consumer packaged goods company
Strong understanding of packaging materials, circularity principles, and sustainability practices and trade-offs
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Compensation Range: $72,000.00 - $108,000.00, plus bonus.
