This facility operates six days a week with potential for overtime and produces Sausage Crumbles and Dry Sausage.



The starting pay for this position is $19.25 an hour, and an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift position placement.

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.





RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Cover motors, electrical plugs and all computer equipment.


  • Clean up excess waste on the floors.


  • Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment.


  • Scour all equipment with scouring pad and/or chemicals are required.


  • Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant.


  • Cleaning of lights, pipes, walls, etc.


  • Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.


  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.


  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements.


  • Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.


  • Work overtime and/or weekends as needed.







Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.




  • Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 10 pounds occasionally.


  • The Team Member will flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally (less than 5 flexion/minute)


  • The Team Member will reach high and low levels, frequently.







Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
