ABOUT THE JOB



The Director of IT Program and Performance Management will lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of our IT strategy and key strategic programs. This key leadership role requires strategic vision, persuasive communication, deep execution, and analytical skills. You will work closely with senior leadership across IT and business functions, including the product team, to ensure that technology investments align with corporate goals and deliver measurable value. You will also manage IT performance, optimize processes, and drive business-IT alignment through effective roadmaps and key performance metrics. You will also lead a couple of high-priority IT driven modernization projects.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



Strategy & Planning:


  • Lead the development and execution of the IT strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business and corporate goals.

  • Collaborate with senior business leaders, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure IT strategies support business objectives and product development.

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a comprehensive IT roadmap that aligns with the corporate roadmap and product development cycles.

  • Ensure that technology initiatives align with product, corporate, and business goals to support digital transformation and competitive advantage.

Business Relationship Management:


  • Serve as a primary liaison between IT, OPS, Clinical, PX, Growth, and Product teams, fostering strong collaboration to ensure alignment and transparency between technology and business units.

  • Build and nurture relationships with senior business leaders and product managers to understand business priorities and deliver innovative IT solutions that meet those needs.

IT Performance Management:


  • Oversee the establishment and continuous monitoring of IT performance metrics, ensuring those reflect the value of IT investments.

  • Publish and communicate IT performance metrics and data-driven insights across the organization, highlighting the achievements and areas for improvement.

  • Regularly assess IT service levels, identify gaps, and facilitate corrective actions to improve outcomes.

Showcase Value of IT Investments:


  • Work with senior leadership to define the business case for IT investments and ensure IT initiatives deliver measurable business value.

  • Regularly report on the return on investment (ROI) of key IT projects, initiatives, and innovations.

  • Develop and present regular reports and dashboards to senior leadership, demonstrating how IT contributes to business success and competitive differentiation.

Identify and Drive Process Improvements:


  • Continuously evaluate IT operations, processes, and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives that reduce costs, enhance productivity, and improve the overall effectiveness of IT services.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement process changes, ensuring effective adoption and measurable improvements.




QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is required. 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles with a focus on IT strategy, performance management, business alignment, and project execution.


  • Strong Strategy consulting and Change Management experience

  • Proven experience working with product teams to align technology, product, and business strategies.

  • Demonstrated success in managing IT roadmaps, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering strategic IT projects.



  • Experience with best practices in IT governance frameworks, ITIL, and service management.

  • Understanding of product development processes and how IT can enable agile product delivery.

  • Strong Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint Skills

  • Good experience managing large budgets and performing what-if financial analysis.

  • Collaborative leader with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Passionate about technology, innovation, and creating operational efficiencies.




Pay Range: $160,000 - $175,000/yr



The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate's years of experience and/or skill level. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive.
