To perform variety of clerical and general office tasks in support of assigned location (i.e. department, project office, etc.)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Ability to perform all essential duties of Junior Administrative Assistant as needed
• Coordinate and perform a range of division/department support activities; serve as a liaison with other divisions/departments.
• Provides administrative support for the staff such as answering telephones, assisting visitors, and resolving and/or referring a range of administrative problems and inquiries.
• Operate personal computer to compose and edit correspondence from dictation, verbal direction, or from knowledge of established division/department policies; may prepare, transcribe, compose, type, edit, and distribute correspondence.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, interviews, appointments, and/or other similar activities for supervisors, which may include coordinating travel and lodging arrangements.
• Assist division/department in problem solving, project planning, and development and execution of stated goals and objectives.
• Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and/or other documents.
• Sort, screen, review and distribute incoming and outgoing mail; compose, prepare, or ensure timely response to a variety of routine inquiries.
• Requisition supplies, printing, maintenance, and other services.
• Run miscellaneous errands; pick up deliveries as required or directed.
• Maintain professional manner with clients and employees
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned

SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Three years of office/clerical experience or equivalent
• Ability to keyboard 50-60 wpm accurately
• Word processing and/or data entry skills.
• Proficient knowledge of general office procedures and office machines
• Proficient in English verbal communication skills, including professional telephone manner
• Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
• Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
• Reliability, dependability and flexibility
