PURPOSE:
The Asset Protection Video Coordinator will provide video review for the Asset Protection team, Store Directors, Human Resources, Risk Management, and Law Enforcement as needed. This position will partner with Legal to ensure necessary permissions are in place and compliant prior to releasing video.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Job Responsibilities
Be an expert in CCTV review and in use of case reporting software. Use these systems to provide video clips to various partners for review per Legal guidelines as needed.
Obtain health reporting on CCTV systems and work with AP Administration Assistant to ensure any needed repairs/maintenance are handled promptly.
Train new AP associates/store leadership on the use of CCTV systems and case reporting software as needed.
Report any observations outside of original request to appropriate department when called for.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
2 years Asset Protection experience preferred
Retail Experience is preferred
Familiarity with CCTV system operation
Experience with case report writing preferred
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
Well organized
Creative and self-motivated
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Skilled with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/DEMANDS:
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
Store level training will be required.
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday.
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
