They are seeking an Industrial Electrician to execute scheduled and day-to-day maintenance tasks, ensuring their food production facility operates safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining automated production equipment and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.


What You Will Be Doing:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant machinery such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, motors, and pumps.
  
  


• Diagnose and repair electrical control devices, including switches, sensors, push buttons, and motor starters.
  
  


• Work with PLCs (Allen Bradley), utilizing RS Logix to read and interpret ladder logic.
  
  


• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  
  


• Collaborate with production and refrigeration teams to resolve operational issues.
  
  


• Use electrical testing tools such as multimeters, ohm meters, and meggers.
  
  


• Communicate effectively with the department manager and contribute to cross-training initiatives.
  
  


• Assist in developing standard operating procedures and maintenance schedules.
  
  


• Interpret technical schematics, plans, and maintenance manuals.
  
  

What They're Looking For

• High School Diploma (Technical College or PLC Certification Course a plus)
  
  

• PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical skills.
  
  


• Experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing a plus).
  
  

• Work within a plant environment with frequent standing, bending, and climbing.
  
  


• Ability to regularly move or lift loads of up to 50 lbs.
