Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Product Acceptance Specialist to join our team in Enfield, CT.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
  • Provides objective evidence of results
  • Performs auditing, surveillance, and monitoring. Identifies and documents discrepancies
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
  • Under limited supervision, inspects incoming parts/material, outgoing orders verify that certification is correct, checks parts for processing, check special orders, daily use of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc. Provides mentorship throughout the Inspection team.
  • Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels; Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects.
  • Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicate with vendor as needed. Disposition and control of on-conforming product.
  • Obtain and maintain Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative Stamps for at least three customers (or as applicable by Site size); Active use of stamps required.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 2+ years of related work experience using of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator, and Smart scope
  • Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article Inspection
  • Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Previous aerospace inspection experience
  • Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities


Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $25.00/hr - $27.00/hr
