Logistics Specialist



BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Logistics Specialist in Durham, NC 27703

Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Durham, NC 27703

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Contract (40 hrs. a week)

Pay Range: $30hr-$35/hr

(Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Work Schedule:

Regular Morning Shift.

Job Description:

Strong SAP supply knowledge / support to 3PL warehouses and Client warehouses
RTP Logistics group mailbox coverage
Facilitate master data article extensions for the distribution/deployment network
Execute STO (Stock Transport Orders)
CASS Freight bill Logistics Queue coverage
Project support as needed
Ad-hoc analysis requests

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain / Business Management, Engineering, or related experience is required (Note: Other disciplines would be considered with demonstrated successful Supply Chain experience.)
2-4 years experience in manufacturing, customer service, sales, production planning role, SAP competency role or equivalent. Strong experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is mandatory
Ability to conduct root cause problem solving
Experience working on cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills/attention to detail required
Advanced Excel skills (big data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP,etc.)
Visualization creation experience a plus (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
