Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies and provide high-functioning administrative support to Medical Center Downtown (MCD) Hospital Administration executive leadership, specifically Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) and Assoicate Chief Medical Officer (ACMO). Manage complex administrative, financial, strategic planning, and communication management issues. Proactively work independently on projects, manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, and use dynamic problem-solving to proactively plan and anticipate the needs of the executive to advance the goals of the organization. Exercise independent judgment, high level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality, and a high level of professionalism. Serve as backup administrative support for additional Hospital Administration executive leadership as needed.
Education or Equivalency Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualification:
Current (6 months - 1 year) administrative, office coordination or financial experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Role models service excellence.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Ability to analyze data and critical thinking skills.
Previous experience working with service excellence /customer focused environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a health care setting.
Excellent organizational skills.
Current experience with scheduling/payroll related activities for nurses and support staff.
Previous experience coordinating education activities/events including knowledge of offering continuing education units (CEU's).
