The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine, at Stanford University's School of Medicine, is a world-leading department that offers comprehensive training and perioperative patient care, pain management, and critical care medicine as well as cutting-edge research, encompassing a wide spectrum of programs in basic, translational, clinical, health services and medical education.
Our Faculty Affairs office in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine is seeking a Faculty Affairs Administrator 2 (Fixed-term 9 months). This role will provide analysis and guidance in the department regarding faculty and academic staff appointments, reappointments, promotions, and provide support to the faculty onboarding process. The FAA2 will also be the first point of contact for faculty inquiries and will ensure compliance with policies and processes set by the School of Medicine, the University, and the Office of Academic Affairs.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills; experience using SmartSheet; prior experience in a faculty affairs role at Stanford; understanding of the School of Medicine's Clinician Educator Line and ability to manage typical appointment and promotion processes independently.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and three years of experience working with administrative processes, or combination of education and relevant experience.

The expected pay range for this position is $77,000 to $93,000 per annum.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
