Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill the Acquisition and Program Management L3 position. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of highly skilled and diverse individuals, contributing to the critical mission of advancing space operations.
The selected candidate will serve as the primary interface between Space Operations Command (SpOC) and Space Rapid Capabilities Office (Space RCO) within the Space RCO's Operations Transition Division. This division plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful transition of Space RCO programs into operational use.
In this role, you will coordinate and oversee the interface between Space RCO and SpOC, streamlining engagements between programs and Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E). You will play a critical role in supporting program development and facilitating smooth transitions into operational environments. By collaborating closely with Space RCO and HQ SpOC staff, you will ensure efficient program execution, enhance stakeholder communication, and drive the successful integration of capabilities into operations.

Compensation Minimum: $180,000
Compensation Maximum: $195,000
Job Requirements:
Skills / Experience Required
Currently hold an active Top Secret/SCI DoD Clearance
12-15 years of experience in Space Operations or Space Acquisition
Serve as the principal interface between Space RCO and SpOC, ensuring effective communication and coordination
Facilitate Operations Transition Division functions at SpOC, supporting directives from the Space Rapid Capabilities Working Group (SpRCWG) in areas such as basing, manpower, CONOPS and concept documents, training, test and evaluation, and security
Develop and advocate for SpOC requirements within Space RCO programs, ensuring alignment with mission objectives
Participate in key staff meetings at HQ SpOC and Space RCO to provide insights and updates
Generate monthly status reports detailing ongoing activities and upcoming events
Coordinate with SpOC Requirements Leads to support Space RCO programs and ensure resource alignment
Engage with SpOC leadership to provide updates, address concerns, and request necessary support
Advise senior leadership with actionable recommendations to enhance mission success
Education / Certifications
Master's degree (MA/MS/ME)
Relevant work experience/training certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree
Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Requirements Management (Level A & B) Certification is desired
PMP Certification (preferred)
