This position is will be located in our Carlsbad office and is within the Genetic Sciences Division, a division of the Life Sciences Group. Genetic Sciences enables genomic discoveries and decisions through our innovative genetic analysis technologies, workflows, and services in the fields of cancer research, human identification, animal health and Agri-genomics, reproductive health, and molecular diagnostics. We support researchers, labs, and clinicians in advancing scientific discovery and improving global health outcomes by providing outstanding genetic analysis platforms and solutions. Our powerful portfolio includes real-time PCR, Sanger sequencing and microarray analysis. Technology applications include genomic analysis, genetic testing, forensics, reproductive health, Agri-genomics and animal health, and human diagnostic testing.
How you will make an impact:
The Strategic Project Manager will lead all aspects of the management and execution of high-priority marketing initiatives, ensuring they are strategically aligned with the broader business goals of the division and growth strategies. This role will lead key marketing projects across the Genetic Sciences Division (GSD), from initial planning and budgeting to tactical execution, delivering impactful results that support divisional priorities. In addition to enabling the digital strategy team to focus on elevated planning and analysis, the Strategic Project Manager will ensure that campaigns are efficiently implemented, driving cross-functional coordination, supporting integrated efforts, and advancing AI content initiatives. This role is critical in optimizing project delivery across the division, ensuring that all marketing activities are both efficient and strategically aligned with business objectives.
Digital Project Management:
Lead the lifecycle of digital marketing projects, from planning to execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to meet project goals.
Support seamless work across marketing, sales, product teams, and vendors.
Integrated Campaign Support:
Lead the execution of cross-functional marketing campaigns aligned with growth goals.
Supervise and report on campaign performance to ensure measurable success.
Deliver campaigns that advance engagement, revenue, and divisional priorities.
Go-to-Market and AI Driven Initiatives:
Responsible for the tactical implementation of AI driven content strategies (e.g., Gene-AI).
Align projects with broader digital strategies and market transformation efforts.
Coordination and Communication:
Act as the central point of contact for project updates, ensuring visibility across partners.
Work closely with digital strategists, data scientists, and external agencies.
Budget and Resource Management:
Lead budgets and resources efficiently to enhance project impact.
Use data-driven insights to continuously refine workflows and outcomes.
What you Bring:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on digital marketing and
Experience in AI driven content marketing or familiarity with AI-based marketing tools.
Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication, strong organization and time management processes to run multiple projects simultaneously and meet targets
Meticulous with outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience working in a highly matrixed environment. Able to establish relationships, influence others, and work effectively with colleagues across multiple locations and countries

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00-$154,700.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
