SUMMARY:


* Candidate must reside in the Eastern New Jersey area. No relocation assistance is provided.



This position is directly responsible for managing the sales positioning and value-added product development of Fresh Meats Pork processor products. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating sales efforts within Tyson's national and International Service Centers


• Maximizing overall product value for the Fresh Meats Group


• Daily interaction with internal teams: Plant Operations, Scheduling, Logistics, Claims, Credit, etc.


• Managing relationships with an established external customer base


• Focusing on maximized sales, optimal inventory management, value-added product development, and new customer development


• Delivering exemplary customer service

REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  Education: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of combined education and experience.


• 
  Experience: Experience in meat or commodity sales and/or protein supply chain management is preferred


• 
  Computer Skills: Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is a plus


• 
  Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills


• 
  Special Skills: Creative problem-solving, excellent customer interaction, goal-oriented, positive and productive team player, results-driven
