Position Summary
Lead the security program ensuring the company is prepared to withstand, respond, and recover from incidents and business disruptions with minimal impact. Development and implementation of CDK Global security standards for protecting people and property against risks such as violence, kidnapping, theft, and damage. Responsible for the development, implementation, delivery, and constant improvement of the global physical security and investigative programs. Drive the corporate security polices and standards across the organization.
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
Coordinates, conducts, and manages investigations globally
Manages forensic team on internal and external investigations that have an impact on CDK. This includes fraud, theft, internal issues, workplace violence, and any issues that negatively impact the business, our associates, and clients
Manages all investigative documents, and responsible for the overall management of the case tracking database including the review of intake documents, development of monitoring and trending reports
Oversees the preparation of investigative documents for HR, legal counsel or law enforcement agencies. Responsible for presenting investigation findings to senior management and for developing training programs for staff on investigation procedures
Develops protocols for the use of forensic examination as part of the investigation process and conducts continuing research into new tools, investigative techniques, resources and protocols relating to forensic examinations for integration into CDK practices
Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Workforce Protection
Lead the creation and maintenance of business continuity plans and participate in crisis management team for appropriate communication to associates, taking accountability of associates that might be impacted by and event, monitoring the impact to our facilities, and communicating to the business leadership team
Manages all facilities globally for disruptions in service, incidents, localized events, natural disasters, terrorism, etc.
Develops and implements policies, procedures, standards, training and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, tampering, sabotage or loss
Responsible for the management and operation of CDK's global emergency notification system (Everbridge), NC4, ISOS and other technologies
Develops workplace violence/active shooter training to associates
Travel Security
Stays current with security travel advisory information on a myriad of topics to associates and managers globally
Ensures travel advisories are current - update as needed. Monitors and/or approves travel to high risk locations and ensures the appropriate security measures are in place to ensure associate security
Coordinates efforts with our associates traveling around the globe, proactively reaching out to them in advance, alerting them of the situations and providing instructions on security and safety. Follow-up with the travelers as appropriate
Event Protection
Manages the planning and execution of major domestic and international corporate events to ensure a safe environment
Responsible for providing security for the appropriate critical Executive meetings, incentive award programs and internal and client conferences
Conducts security advances, produces response run books, and develops operational security plan to insure access control, appropriate medical response, liaison with local law enforcement and embassy officials and to investigate any violations of the code of conduct, travel policies or any other violations of CDK policies
Provides supervision of all CDK and contractor security personnel assigned to each event
Business Security Council
In conjunction with the GSO leadership, manages, coordinates, and convene the Business Security Council meetings, while being responsible for selecting the appropriate topics for said meetings
Liaison
Builds and strengthen relationships and liaison with private security agencies, corporate entities, Federal, State and local law enforcement and intelligence agencies in connection with gathering intelligence information and identifying incidents effecting CDK worldwide
Other responsibilities
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with Business Security Council members throughout the business units to implement programs
Responsible for identifying security equipment needs
Develops and maintains internal security policies and guidelines and ensuring adherence company-wide
Initiates, manages, develops and direct major security initiatives
Implements international security policies, procedures, standards, training and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, product tampering, espionage, sabotage, or loss.
Required Skills/Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, criminal justice, law or related field
Minimum of 8+ years of management experience in law enforcement or in the military field
Experience in executing investigative and protective duties acquired through practical experience in the public, government and/or private sectors
Global Law enforcement or industry-specific knowledge regarding common tools and techniques utilized in investigations of fraudulent activities around the world
Specialized experience in conducting security / protection advances for major events and executive travel
Specialized experience in analyzing and rating the potential of threats of workforce violence and providing the appropriate level of prevention
Strong communication and analytical skills necessary
Ability to prioritize assignments, follow-up and resolve problems independently.
Microsoft Office proficiency
Ability to influence others to achieve results and to work effectively with senior management
Business understanding, acumen and writing skills
Knowledge of and sensitivity to country norms and practices
Salary : $135 - $160K + Bonus
