JobSummary:
The Construction and Fabric Maintenance(FM) Lead will be responsible for managing, monitoring, coordinating thecompany Fabric Maintenance (FM) program and Construction of maintenance,reliability, and integrity projects for the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) offshorefacilities. In this role, you will manage the FM Program and Construction workbeing performed by subcontractors, including oversight of Safety, and will workwith our internal Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Procurement,Asset Management, Quality and EHS department to oversee the execution of theproject. Additionally, you would be expected to have a proven backgroundmanaging Fabric Maintenance (FM) program and multiple Construction projects,demonstrating your ability to handle multifaceted challenges and deliversuccessful outcomes. In this role, you will manage a group of seven (07)Construction Supervisors and one (01) Fabric Maintenance Lead. This role willbe based in Houston, TX, reporting to the Manager of MR&I Projects.Offshore visits are expected once per quarter..
JobDuties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage theentire Fabric Maintenance (FM) Program consistent with defined strategy,process, objectives, and budget.
• Manage interactiveFM and Construction planning and workflow improvement sessions.
• Direct theestablishment of appropriate FM process workflows for coating-relatedactivities and document approvals.
• Develop andmaintain operating rhythm to ensure FM and Construction deliverables areroutinely achieved.
• Perform FM &Construction readiness assessments and implement gap-closure plans, as needed.
• Responsible forproviding leadership, oversight and direction to the FM and Construction teams.
• Provide routine FMand Construction updates and reporting to key stakeholders.
• Ensure EHSrequirements are continuously embedded in the FM and Construction work process.
• Ensure budgetedFabric Maintenance (FM) program is delivered safely on time, on budget withcompleted CoS (conditions of satisfaction)
• Develop andimplement FM and construction safety and progress measurement KPIs, conductregular status meetings, and coordinate with stakeholders.
Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, ConstructionManagement or related field.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of offshoreexperience in construction management of maintenance, reliability, andintegrity projects.
• A minimum of five (5) years of FabricMaintenance experience on offshore facilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Fabric Maintenancemanagement including: 1) FM planning, 2) surface preparation process, 3)abrasive and vapor blasting, 4) coating application, 5) corrosion mitigationaspects associated with construction and installation of offshore topsidestructures and piping system.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Proficiency in managing FM and constructionactivities, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders, demonstrating strongleadership and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative approach to work, with a strongattention to detail and documentation, including daily reports, KPI tracking,periodic reporting, and other standard construction and Fabric Maintenancemanagement activities.
• Must be able to understand business issues anddirect favorable outcomes.
• Ability to energize others, ability to actcritically and deliver results.
Skills/Attributes
• Knowledge of corrosion processes andmitigation in offshore environment.
• Knowledge of work management system,corrective and preventative maintenance planning and construction planning.
• Knowledge of typical offshore FabricMaintenance best practices.
• Construction and Project management skillsincluding ability to organize, plan and deliver results per a businesstimeline.
• Knowledge of project cost estimating,scheduling, and risk assessment
• Ability to apply sound, independent judgmentand be decisive to determine a course of action consistent with an establishedproject framework
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbal andwritten), including the ability to develop technical reports and presentations
• Ability to manage external constructionservices
• Ability to work effectively under stress andtime pressures
WorkingConditions:
• Work is primarily conducted in an officeenvironment (Private or Semi-Private Office) but also requires occasionaltravel to off-site work locations;
• Field duties require outdoor work in aconstruction site type atmosphere;
• Interaction with other team members, as wellas supervisors and client personnel;
• Working on a construction site or in plantand/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels
• Must be able to wear safety equipment asrequired by the safety department for personal protection;
• May be at more than one job site in a day andmust be able to tolerate climate changes;
• May be required to travel out of town on aperiodic basis.
