Role Overview--Account Specialist: In this role, you'll be the bridge between WEG and our market (customers, reps, and distributors). Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Liaison: Handle requests related to Request For Quotes (RFQs) and Product Performance Reports (PPRs).
  2. Pricing and Bidding: Review customer specifications, gather information from Engineering, and develop pricing and form completion for bidding processes.
  3. Feedback: Regularly communicate with distributors, reps, and customers to gather feedback.
  4. Customer Service: Address troubleshooting and field questions via phone, email, or fax.
  5. Technical Support: Assist the Sales Team in resolving technical concerns.

Requirements:

Basic:

  • Deadline-Driven: Ability to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Ethics and Values: Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values (WEG Code of Ethics, 4th Edition).
  • Work Authorization: Must have current work authorization for employment in the United States.
  • Location: Resides or plans to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri.
  • Successful Candidate: will complete an application, talent assessment, job interview, drug screen, and background check.

Preferred:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • SAP Familiarity: Experience or familiarity with SAP software.
  • Sales & Marketing Experience: At least two years of experience in Sales & Marketing.
