Position Purpose:
The Human Resources Generalist position serves as an administrator and key contributor for several critical OPC functions, including employment records management, recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, employee engagement, leave of absence and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records. Maintain compliance and knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, benefits administration, and employment law. Provide oversight of OPC databases, software, and computer systems used to manage employment records and all OPC functions. Facilitate and communicate organizational policies and programs and ensure labor law and regulatory compliance. Collect and analyze data for meaningful insights to improve systems and processes. Recommend and assist with implementation of initiatives and systems to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of OPC operations and business processes.
