Position Overview


The Professional and Distance Education Programs is accepting applications for a part-time Lecturer appointment to teach courses SP25 in the MEM and MGEL online master's programs. Duties include but are not limited to: curriculum/syllabus design, online course content and materials development, and teaching. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to complete activities and provide support for teaching the ISE 5800 and ENGR 6210 courses.



The course is provided by the University's main campus in Columbus, Ohio.

Education and Experience Requirements



  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Math, or equivalent experience.

  • Three to five years of teaching and/or industry related experience in the field of data science or relevant area.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • A commitment to or demonstrated efforts in teaching that reflect Ohio State's Shared Values.
