LOCATION: District Wide. Classes could be held in Green Bay, Marinette, Wausaukee, and/or Sturgeon Bay or surrounding areas.

CLASS START DATE: Hours vary and can include day, evening, and weekend classes.

SALARY: $45.00 per class hour contracted



POSITION REPORTS TO: Associate Dean, Public Safety.





MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE



  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in related field and at least five years of direct occupational experience required.

    • At a minimum, occupational experience must have occurred at least 1 year within the last 5 years.



  • Required Certifications:

    • Documented Jail Instructor certification with the Wisconsin Department of Justice.

Other Requirements



  • Previous teaching experience with adult learners is preferred

  • Ability to work non-standard hours including evening and weekend hours

  • Additional certification topics preferred but not required: Defensive Tactics or Principles of Subject Control (POSC), Professional Communication Skills (PCS), Scenario Instructor, and Officer Wellness.

  • Responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering instruction and assessment of learning outcomes.
