Split Appointment: Functions as an Administrative Assistant providing support and assistance in managing and coordinating all phases of daily operations of the Associate Dean of Research Information Technology (50%), Chief Wellbeing Leader and Faculty Director of the Gabbe Wellbeing Office (25%), and Director of Soter Women's Health Research Program (25%); responds to phone and electronic communication, facilitates business communication between department to various entities throughout the University; drafts and prepares correspondence, including obtaining signatures; processes and maintains memorandum of understanding (MOU); coordinates and oversees assigned calendars; arranges and organizes meetings including oversees conference room reservations; prepares agendas and records minutes of meetings; works with management to compose and distribute regular departmental updates and bulletins.
Other responsibilities include the following: manages and distributes all incoming mail, supplies, equipment and miscellaneous packages; maintains inventory of office supplies and equipment; develops and prepares presentations and spreadsheets; prepares, submits, and monitors travel requests; participates in recruitment process as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
