At Lonza AG, we are excited to offer the outstanding opportunity for a QC Analyst III to join our outstanding team in Houston, TX, USA. This role is integral to our mission, focusing on the detailed execution of quality control processes within the healthcare sector. As part of our elite organization, you will support our bold goals by ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance are met.
Perform QC biological/cell-based testing of Cell Therapy release and stability samples, primarily using flow cytometry-based assays, as well as proliferation, ELISA, cell counts, and immunofluorescence microscopy/spectroscopy assays.
Support Cell Therapy technology transfer activities by participating in training on new methodologies, setting up new equipment, generating method SOPs, and executing validation protocols.
Maintain data and follow cGMP regulations, including writing deviations and other quality documentation.
Perform general lab and equipment maintenance duties to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
Carry out other duties as assigned to support the team and business objectives.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field is closely required; advanced degrees are a plus.
Confirmed experience in a QC role within the healthcare or life sciences industry, with a strong understanding of cGMP regulations.
Proven expertise in flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and other cell-based assay techniques.
Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring the magnificent execution of QC assays.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
Ability to efficiently implement and balance multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
