The position: The Resident App Product Manager plays a pivotal role in RPM Living's customer strategy by spearheading the implementation and continuous enhancement of the RPM Living Resident App. Overseeing product setup, system training, troubleshooting, and associate feedback collection at the community-level, this position is crucial in driving resident satisfaction and engagement at participating properties.

Responsibilities
  • Set up the RPM Living Resident App at participating communities, partnering with site-level and regional operators to collect key information for each community's buildout.
  • Act as the main point of contact for troubleshooting requests, working with third-party support to provide solutions.
  • Work directly with users to collect feedback around UI/UX, workflows, reporting, and other areas to develop optimization recommendations.
  • Assist the VP of Rental Operations with managing the product roadmap and monitoring enhancement timelines.
  • Monitor app adoption, resident preferences/behaviors/concerns, and other KPIs to inform decision-making processes and better refine strategies.
  • Work with operators and central support teams to regularly implement new workflows based on user data and product enhancements.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to create and optimize a robust training program for RPM's associates.
  • Regularly educate associates, both formally and informally, around product best practices.
  • Track and regularly report on the performance of the RPM Living Resident App.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:
  • Proven experience in product management, with a focus on the multifamily industry a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and industry-specific compliance.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Physical Requirements:
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or Austin office 3 days per week.
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
