Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, passionate, and dedicated Web Developer to join our team. Qualified candidates must be able to communicate and collaborate with a team of highly talented professionals and interact with stakeholders.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for assessing the current company website and leading efforts to redesign and rebuild it. This involves creating a user-friendly, modern, and responsive design using HTML and JavaScript. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver an optimized solution.
Evaluate and document the strengths and weaknesses of the existing website.
Redesign and rebuild the site using a combination of HTML, JavaScript, Frameworks, Libraries and tools.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to incorporate feedback and align with business goals.
Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
Maintain the website, making iterative improvements based on user needs.
Required:
Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of web design principles, including responsive design and user experience (UX).
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work that meets deadlines.
Based in Austin, TX, and able to work on a hybrid schedule.
Preferred:
Familiarity with additional web technologies (e.g., CSS, frameworks, or libraries) is a plus.
Experience with website optimization and accessibility best practices.
Education/Experience Requirement:
5+ years of equivalent experience in web development.
