The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management as well as practical experience as an electrician in the field. This role involves overseeing electrical projects from bid to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Provide technical guidance and support to the project team and clients.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns.
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success.
Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the electrical industry.
Proven background as an electrician with hands-on experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience with large-scale commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
