Maintenance Technician at Master Extrusion, LLC in Albertville, Alabama

Job Description:

-MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHT SHIFT 8PM-8AM SWING SHIFT

JOB DUTIES:
Follow written preventative maintenance program and document as required.Set, calibrate, or adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments so that it complies with production specifications or instructions.Maintain production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.Perform routine operating functions and troubleshooting on all equipment.Maintain maintenance records and safety related inspections.Performs all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards.All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or equivalent with technical school diploma or advanced education in electrical, mechanical or electronic engineering.Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience.Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.Ability to be certified for forklift operation.General mathematic ability required to perform job.Willing to enhance skill level through available training.Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers.Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Good hand and eye coordination, with ability to be quick and accurateAbility to bend, stoop, and lift up to 10 pounds repeatedly, and climb steps.Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling).Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, crawl, and bend.Exposure includes but is not limited to continuous noise, scent of materials, bright work stations, machinery with moving parts.
