TITLE: Supervisor, Mobile, Rolling Office, EnRoute
LOCATION: Atlanta, Ga.
ANTICIPATED DURATION: Direct Hire
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive Field and Mobile technology roadmap that supports strategic goals and business objectives.
Lead a team of 11-21 IT professionals (including contractors) across multiple geographic locations.
Manage a $1M-$5M annual technology budget and oversee a project portfolio valued at $10M-$20M.
Ensure operational excellence through continuous improvement, leveraging metrics-driven performance and customer-focused design.
Drive technology simplification, consolidation, and rationalization to improve supportability and minimize customization.
Partner with GAS Business Operations Technology Services (BOTS) and participate in the Field Technology Advisory Committee.
Lead IT teams using Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, ensuring adherence to the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Oversee the implementation of ITIL-based processes for efficient IT operations and support.
Supervisor Requirements:
Proven leadership in driving organizational change and team development.
In-depth knowledge of ITIL, SDLC, and modern project delivery frameworks (Agile/Waterfall).
Ability to manage large IT budgets and complex project portfolios.
Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor relationship management.
Expertise in identifying and deploying cutting-edge technologies to drive efficiency and competitive advantage.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced, operationally critical environments.
Outstanding communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Supervisor Preferred Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Experience:
10+ years of IT experience.
Minimum 5 years managing medium-to-large teams across cross-functional, multi-site environments.
Extensive experience with Field/Mobile development technologies, integration practices, and application development.
Demonstrated expertise in utility industry IT functions and strategy execution.
The compensation range for this position is dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location.
