One of our clients in Los Angeles is looking for a Product Manager with the following skills and experience:

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the development and optimization of innovative products, ensuring exceptional value for both users and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing scalable solutions that align with strategic goals. This role requires a results-oriented professional with strong leadership, technical understanding, and excellent communication skills.

Must-Have Qualifications:
  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. Professional Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering digital or technical products.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or Asana).
    • Experience with building products in cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
    • Solid technical foundation to collaborate with engineering teams effectively.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exceptional ability to work with engineering, design, and business teams to drive products from concept to launch.
  5. Data-Driven Mindset: Proficiency in leveraging data analytics tools to make product decisions, define KPIs, and measure product performance.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  7. Experience with products in media, content, or streaming environments.
  8. Familiarity with web and mobile platforms and understanding of user-centric design principles.
  9. Strong knowledge of data modeling, APIs, or backend services.
  10. Prior experience integrating products with AI/ML or data-heavy pipelines.

  • Continually optimize and iterate on products based on data insights and user feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to collect and prioritize business and technical requirements. Translate complex requirements into actionable product features.
  • Product Development: Work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to develop and deliver scalable products, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for product updates, presenting key milestones, progress, and results to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis, user research, and market assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.
  • Backlog Management: Own and maintain the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Performance Metrics: Define KPIs to measure product success, analyze data to assess performance, and optimize products to meet business and customer goals.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead product launches by coordinating with marketing, sales, and support teams, ensuring successful rollout and adoption.
  • User Focus: Champion the user experience, advocating for usability, accessibility, and performance across all product solutions.
