A leading, independent, full-service trust company focused on managing complex assets for high-net-worth individuals and families is seeking a Vice President, Trust Administration to join their team. The company provides fiduciary services, investment management, family office solutions, and support for charitable trusts and foundations, currently with over $10 billion in assets under management.
Position Overview:
The role requires a proactive, solution-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment. The VP will manage relationships with high-net-worth clients and oversee trust administration, tax compliance, and charitable trust management.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as primary relationship manager for high-net-worth clients, collaborating with their advisors.
Administer large, complex trusts and estates, ensuring compliance with governing agreements.
Coordinate new client onboarding and account terminations.
Oversee trust and estate tax filings, working with outside CPAs.
Participate in trust and investment committee decisions and manage charitable trusts.
Identify marketing and new business opportunities.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years in personal trust administration.
Bachelor's degree required; JD, MBA, CFP, or CTFA preferred.
Knowledge of fiduciary tax laws and trust accounting systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
