About You
As an Architectural Project Manager, you have completed your formal education and have 5+ years of professional experience. You possess strong design skills with the ability to communicate high-level concepts and confidently translate those ideas into architectural form. You have a solid background in architecture and are eager to continue learning and growing in your career. Proficient in drafting programs such as Revit, SketchUp, and AutoCAD, you are able to coordinate drawings and meet aggressive deadlines. You demonstrate initiative, effectively communicate design intent to colleagues and clients, and have experience managing teams to achieve project goals. You are skilled in working with consultants and contractors, anticipating upcoming project requirements and milestones. Confident in client communications, you work well within a team, are receptive to direction and feedback from senior team members, and are eager to mentor junior team members. You are engaging, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently with a high degree of autonomy.
Job Overview
As a Project Manager at LSI, you will be an integral part of a collaborative design team, assuming significant responsibility and autonomy in producing and executing projects. You will coordinate with consultants to develop complete and synchronized drawing sets. We expect you to work diligently while promoting an inclusive and collaborative studio culture. Project Managers are engaged in projects from conceptualization through construction administration. This role will provide you with diverse opportunities to learn new skills and further develop your expertise as an architect.
Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in architecture, with a background in executing both commercial and residential projects of varying scales, uses, and construction types. Experience with mixed-use and multi-family projects is desirable. You must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively on a diverse range of project types, from vertical mixed-use to single-family residential. We value strong collaborative skills, effective communication, eagerness to learn, and a desire to build meaningful relationships with peers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager at LSI, you will be responsible for successfully managing project teams, creating and managing schedules, and effectively communicating project expectations with clients and consultants. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Contributing to design efforts through collaboration, with strong architectural drawing and construction detailing skills
Managing team members, outlining tasks and deliverables, while providing guidance, education, and clear direction
Coordinating with consultants to resolve issues and produce complete, synchronized drawing sets
Analyzing code and development parameters, and effectively translating that information into achievable designs
Producing project graphics for client communication and marketing purposes
Maintaining and improving BIM and CAD templates and standards
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in architecture
Professional degree in architecture
Proficiency in Revit (additional experience with SketchUp is desirable)
Preferred experience with multi-family and vertical mixed-use project types
Experience in construction administration
Ability to communicate high-level design concepts and execute design intent
