Vice President - Commercial and K12 Construction

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Develop and help maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and regularly report on project status to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor selection.
  • Monitor and mitigate project risks, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation on construction sites, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on commercial construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of county school construction regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, Microsoft Project).
