Duration: 6+ Month contract to Hire (Long-term contract to hire)
Overview:
Company is seeking a skilled Retirement/Benefits Specialist to manage retirement plans and benefits for over 4000 active and retired employees. This role will involve overseeing medical, dental, vision, 401(k), 457 plans, and providing financial planning guidance. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, retirement systems, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage benefits and retirement plans (401k, 457 plans, medical, dental, vision).
Support employees with inquiries and changes to their retirement plans.
Assist with open enrollment and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate records, handle paperwork, and generate reports.
Collaborate with HR teams to communicate benefits offerings and updates.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, retirement systems, and financial planning.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (Oracle experience is a plus).
Bachelor's degree required.
Strong communication skills for interacting with a large employee base.
Ability to pass a thorough FBI background check and drug test.
