Job Description:

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
  • Material and parts ordering and sourcing for construction, technicians and sales team members.
  • Assists Safety Director with the coordination of fleet documentation, repairs and administration of vehicle claims.
  • Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of all third-party vendors for pre-qualification and safety documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and administer the fleet of vehicles company-wide to include managing the fleet schedule and refreshing the fleet through purchasing new vehicles and selling old vehicles.
  • Maintain files for all vehicles to include vehicle repairs, driver changes, etc. Make arrangements as necessary for these changes.
  • Maintain vehicle log to include information on current vehicles and driver information.
  • Assist with oversight of vehicle claims, including interface with collision repair centers, claims adjusters and claim filing with insurance.
  • Administer vehicle registration and insurance disbursement to fleet drivers.
  • Coordinate with after-market products to be included in new vehicles.
  • Interface with DOT for requirements needed for the delivery truck, including licensing and driver physicals.
  • Provide direction during vehicles accidents or breakdowns including Vehicle Accident Forms, towing arrangements, and repair arrangements as needed by safety director.
  • Oversee company-wide fuel programs.
  • Annual Fleet strategy and forecasting for upcoming years
  • Any additional tasks deemed necessary by their supervisor

Additional Duties:
  • Set up new third-party vendors by filling out their registrations as required.
  • Maintain Ktag and Pikepass
  • Maintain safety points and send out monthly safety tracker spreadsheets. Additionally, totaling E.Edwards gift card amounts yearly.
  • Maintain KPA Training System by logging trainings and VIR
  • Coordinate inspections for fire extinguisher and tracking/inspections for dielectric gloves
  • Assist with quarterly safety meetings as needed- including safety topic prep., food ordering and attendance tracking

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of two years of purchasing experience preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. HVAC experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, purchase orders and tracking documents. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing software.
