CCL Global is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, dynamic, and strategic Estimating Manager. The Estimating Manager will oversee the estimating team's functions on individual bids, implementing plans and policies to achieve division and corporate objectives. This role involves delivering well-organized estimates, budgets, and schedules while ensuring systems and procedures are in place to manage project risk effectively. The Estimating Manager will also foster innovative estimating strategies to provide a competitive edge and support the organization's ability to win work and generate revenue.

Key Duties Include:
Participate in design reviews for plant systems, structures, and components within your area of expertise.
Lead a team of 3-10 estimators, providing oversight and guidance for bids and proposals.
Manage and lead the estimating efforts of projects through the proposal stage, including chairing team meetings.
Conduct value engineering by reviewing design options and recommending optimal solutions based on cost, engineering, quality, or material availability.
Lead the estimating input for risk assessment and management processes, contributing to the population of the Risk Register.
Accurately formulate all tender costs-labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes-for quotation submissions.
Oversee the estimate close-out process, including tender reviews and sub-proposal analysis.
Ensure compliance with company estimating policies, risk management practices, and standard operating procedures.
Facilitate the successful transition and handover of estimating documents to project execution teams.
Develop and manage data and metrics to enhance and support the estimating process.
Provide mentorship and guidance to Senior Estimators, Estimators, Junior Estimators, and Trainee Estimators.
Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Project Management or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
10+ years of experience in Estimating and Operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
Experience with large infrastructure projects and bids valued at $100M+.
Proven track record of leading large bids involving multiple disciplines.
Expertise in reading and understanding construction drawings and documents.
Strong knowledge of contract language, terms and conditions, and bonding requirements.
Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Project, P6, Hard Dollar, or similar estimating software.
Solid understanding of project controls, including costs, scheduling, and general construction requirements.
