Assists Executive Director and Outreach and Development Manager with fundraising coordination, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with donors and partners. Represents Dementia Together and works with the development and program teams to implement initiatives that increase Dementia Together support for current participants and visibility among potential funders and partners in the community.

Responsibilities of every Dementia Together position:
Professionally and positively represents the organization with integrity and with a respectful, joyful kindness and enthusiasm, exemplifying dementia-friendly communication strategies for meaningful interaction with people living with dementia.
Collaborates with the Dementia Together team to develop innovative solutions that address the challenges of a growing program.
Completes timely reports for data tracking related to programs, financials, and operations, ensuring information is clearly communicated for staff and board updates and decision-making.
Maintains professional confidentiality by restricting internal discussions to relevant staff or board members who can positively address any issues.
Adheres to the ethical guidelines outlined in the Dementia Together Employee Handbook to foster a culture of trust among volunteers, participants, colleagues, and the community.
Contributes to organizational development and vision within the scope of the position, upholding values that support the long-term sustainability and success of the organization.
Responsibilities of Development Coordinator:
Support Outreach and Resource Development Manager in fundraising efforts, donor retention, and acquisition
Assist with data entry (50% of time) using Salesforce and spreadsheets
Coordinate fundraising events, memorial donations, and planned giving initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with corporate donors
Facilitate relationships with individual donors to foster memorial giving
Collaborate on strategic planning for outreach and fundraising goals
Organize donor/volunteer appreciation events
Prepare accurate reports and maintain records
Required Skills:
Proficiency in various online tools and software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Office)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience in non-profit fundraising or outreach (3-5 years preferred)
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects
Knowledge of social media and basic marketing platforms
Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
Education:
Bachelor's degree with interest in fundraising and nonprofit organizations
Additional Requirements:
Friendliness, enthusiasm, kindness, and compassion.
Possession of a current and valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
Successful completion of a background screening according to the policies of Dementia Together.
This position focuses on supporting fundraising efforts and donor management, with a significant portion of time dedicated to data entry and administrative tasks to ensure effective development operations.
Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, phones, and photocopiers. Hybrid office locations of home, organizational office, and other facilities/buildings throughout Northern CO. Some meetings are in-person and some are online.

Pay Starting $20/hour
General working hours
Full time 8:00 am- 4:30 pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekends as needed for organizational programming
