Job Title: HSE Advisor

Weatherford is hiring a Senior Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor for our Permian Odessa Facility. The Senior Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor will be working within a supportive, inclusive team in a fast-paced, progressive environment. Overview:

The HSE Advisor supports the Global HSE Team by developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. The role includes monitoring HSE performance, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and guiding employees on HSE best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety, Security & Compliance:
  • Ensure corporate governance by aligning activities with the Company's HSE policies, Management System, and relevant regulations.
  • Prioritize Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection as core values, ensuring the safety of employees, processes, and the community.
  • Continuously improve Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental performance through best practices, technology, and stakeholder engagement.

Operations:
  • Deliver HSE training on emergency response, personal protective equipment, and hazardous material handling.
  • Assist in investigating accidents and incidents by collecting and analyzing data and preparing detailed reports.
  • Monitor HSE performance metrics such as accident rates, near-miss reporting, and environmental performance.
  • Collaborate with the HSE Team to develop and implement HSE improvement plans and training materials.
  • Provide guidance to employees on HSE matters and serve as a resource for compliance and safety.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE role.

Required:
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA regulations and environmental permits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Travel Requirement:

This role may require domestic and international travel of up to 10%.
