Role is hybrid - South Bay Area with about 25% travel
Compensation 140k-180k + 35% ($243k all in)
DUTIES
Develop and implement a comprehensive food service innovation strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
Lead the creation, testing, and launch of new food products, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and customer satisfaction standards.
Collaborate with key vendors and conduct market research to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and consumer preferences to guide menu development.
Negotiate contracts with key suppliers to maximize promotional funding, secure favorable pricing, and support vendor programs.
Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and innovative products.
Work closely with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure successful execution of new food service initiatives.
Develop and implement pricing and promotional strategies to drive category sales growth while maximizing margin and competitive advantage.
Manage budgets for food service innovation projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and positive ROI.
Oversee the performance of various QSR programs within convenience store locations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in food service, product development, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
