Know and understand TRADESMAN as your PRIMARY use of software for our company. Familiar with Project Management, Quantity Takeoffs, Revisions & Change Orders, Capable of Technical Support, Excel EXPERT. Billing SOVs, Reading & Revising Contracts. Plan Reading, Ordering Submittals, Ordering material, Job procurement, Job Costing, project management, & Business Development.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Primary Software Usage:
TRADESMAN Software: Utilize TRADESMAN as the primary tool for project estimation, tracking, and management. Ensure proficient use for all project-related tasks.
Project Management:
Oversee all phases of the project from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Manage project schedules, resources, and ensure the project stays within budget and scope.
Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
Quantity Takeoffs & Estimating:
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, specifically for concrete footings and other construction elements.
Provide accurate project cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Revisions & Change Orders:
Stay updated on project changes, manage revisions, and process change orders as necessary.
Adjust project estimates and budgets to reflect any changes or new requirements.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to project teams, resolving issues related to estimating, project management, and software usage.
Excel Expertise:
Utilize advanced Excel skills for data tracking, reporting, and project cost management.
Create and maintain comprehensive spreadsheets for budget tracking, cost analysis, and other project-related data.
Billing & SOVs (Schedule of Values):
Prepare and submit accurate billing, including generating Schedule of Values (SOVs) for progress payments.
Ensure proper invoicing and payment tracking.
Contract Review & Revisions:
Read, revise, and interpret project contracts to ensure alignment with company standards and client requirements.
Ensure that contract terms are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Plan Reading & Material Ordering:
Review and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
Order materials and submittals as needed, ensuring timely procurement to avoid project delays.
Job Costing & Financial Tracking:
Monitor and track project costs, ensuring that the project remains financially viable.
Work with finance teams to reconcile job costs and maintain profitability.
Business Development:
Assist in business development efforts, identifying opportunities for growth and building relationships with potential clients.
Masonry Expertise:
A strong, foundational understanding of masonry systems, processes, and materials is essential. This knowledge should be demonstrated through hands-on experience and troubleshooting skills
Qualifications
Experience in the construction industry or a related field is strongly preferred.
