We are seeking an experienced BigID Engineer/Admin/Developer to join our team and support data privacy, governance, and protection initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BigID, a platform that provides data discovery and privacy automation. You will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of BigID across our enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and administer BigID platform instances to ensure optimal performance and security.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements and customize BigID to meet organizational needs.
Develop and implement data discovery, classification, and protection workflows within BigID.
Ensure seamless integration of BigID with other data protection, security, and compliance tools.
Create and manage reports, dashboards, and alerts within BigID for monitoring data governance activities.
Assist in troubleshooting, maintaining, and scaling the BigID platform.
Work closely with security, legal, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Automate routine tasks related to data discovery, classification, and reporting using BigID and other scripting tools.
Provide training and documentation to end-users and team members on BigID functionalities and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest BigID releases and industry trends related to data privacy and governance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience working with the BigID platform (BigID Data Discovery, Classification, and Privacy Automation).
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in implementing and managing BigID.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or other scripting languages for automating tasks and customizing workflows within BigID.
Experience with data privacy regulations and frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or similar.
Familiarity with integrating BigID with other tools such as DLP, SIEM, or data governance platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security best practices.
Experience with data encryption, masking, or other data protection techniques.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or related data privacy certifications.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
